G2: KENYA - Masai Mara, Nakuru, Baringo, Samburu + Zanzibar
G.21 The Great Safari in Kenya is a 7-day expedition designed for globetrotters. Overnights in camps of igloo tents and in basic standards (mattresses). In parts of the program we might pitch tents on our own, while in others they will be waiting for us ready to settle in. The camps do not have electricity. The showers are mostly gravitational with cool water and the toilets are eco-type. You should take your sleeping bag with you. The participants are advised that English language will be used during safari.
We invite people who are eager to discover the secrets of the wilderness and do not long for luxury. Masai Mara: the most beautiful park in Kenya, where you might find almost all species of African animals, meet the Masaai living in harsh conditions and visit their village. Nakuru: a lake of flamingos and the land of rhinos. Baringo: it is a rather small lake of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by papyrus and acacia woodlands. It is an ornitologhist paradise with almost 450 species of birds. Samburu: is in a different flora and fauna zone, beyond the equator. A tipical African bush, beautiful views of Mt. Kenya, game and possibly even a leopard hiding in a tree branches. The park is even more wild than Masai Mara and not so often visited by tourists. The sunsets are considered the most beautiful in the world. ITINERARY DAY 1: Departure form Europe and arrival at Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi in the evening.
