14-day African Adventure. Overnights in igloo-type tents. During our journey we will visit 7 parks in Kenya. First we go to Samburu, where you might see lots of rare species. Than we travel to Baringo with over 1200 bird species. From there we set off to Masai Mara and its beautiful savannah and multitude of flora and fauna. In Amboseli we will get a chance to track down approximately 50 large mammal species and 400 bird species. It is a photographers’ paradise. By the end of our trip we will visit both Tsavo parts, the largest national park in Kenya.
The participants should know English.


ITINERARY

DAY
1: Departure from Europe. On arrival at Nairobi Airport – transfer to a tourist class hotel for overnight.

DAY 2: Samburu. We set out in the early morning and we travel north to Samburu game reserve. We set camp in the shade of trees. There is a cold water shower available which is prefect after a day in dust and sun.

DAY 3: Samburu. We will spend in the park admiring its beauty and diversity. Me will sure see an elephant, possibly a corc and with a bit of luck – a leopard.

DAY 4: Baringo. Early morning we depart to Lerochi plainlands towards Lake Baringo. Evening boat trip on the lake will be a chance to see hippos and crocs.

DAY 5: Lake Nakuru. We travel 30 km south to Lake Bogoria with hot springs. This place is called “flamingo new home” (their population is approximately 2 million here). Afternoon safari in the Lake Nakuru area.

DAY 6: Masai Mara. We depart in the morning to see the renown savannah and multitude of wild animals.

DAY 7: Today we will experience the beauty of Masai Mara. Wherever we look we spot all African game. We will have a chance to watch a lion, cheetah or even a leopard. For those eager for a bit more thrill – morning baloon safari.

DAY 8: Today we depart towards Narok where we will get a chance to buy some souvenirs. We continue until we reach Nairobi. Overnight in a tourist class hotel.

DAY 9: Amboseli. Morning departure through Namanga to Amboseli park in the shade of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

DAY 10: Whole day in Amboseli. We will get a chance to see elephants, buffalos, lions, cheetah, hienas, zeebras and many more.

DAY 11: Tsavo West. In the moringn we will set out to Tsavo West where we will visit Chyulu Hills and Mzima Springs with special underwater observatory.

DAY 12: Another day of the park’s exploration and search for the local birds.

DAY 13: Tsavo East. Early morning we will travel to East part of the park, known for its red elephants and beautiful sceneries. Visit the Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks and Aruba Dam.

DAY 14: Mombasa. Morning game drive and following transfer to Mombasa Airport for flight home.

REMARK: It is possible to extend the trip by a stay in Zanzibar in a 4* hotel or private Vanilla House.

REMARKS:
Any changes to a single itinerary may be done on client’s request at an extra cost of USD 150 paid as an advanced payment for a trip (to be used within one year). Only minor changes such as number of days in Zanzibar or hotel change are free of charge.

Rates and prices include fuel charges and local taxes and fees and in case of change of any of those costs the price of whole program may change respectively.
