Great Migrations is a 10-day-long journey for the real globetrotters. Overnights in igloo-type tents. A participant should have a sleeping bag. The group often, but not every day, participates in piching the tents. This is a voyage through the national parks of Nakuru, Masai Mara, Musoma, Serengeti, Lake Victoria, Ngorongoro, Great Rift Valley to finish in Nairobi. At the end there is a possibility of extending the trip and visit Vanilla House in Zanzibar, where more excursions are available, including swimming with dolphins and diving. During our trip we will visit remote places inhabitet by many beautiful African species and with a bit of luck we might witness the great migrations.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival at Nairobi Airport and transfer to a tourist-class hotel for overnight.

DAY 2: We depart in the morning towards Lake Nakuru National Park for afternoon game drive. Overnight in a camp. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 3-4: Drive towards Narok and our camp located on the park’s edge. Here we will have tents with beds. Multitude of species and beautiful views astonish. Possible baloon safari at an extra cost. Overnight in the camp. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 5: Drive to Musoma for overnight on the Lake Victoria’s shore. This region is especially interesting because of the many tribes living in the area. Overnight in a camp. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 6: In the morning we depart towards Serengeti, for an afternoon safari in this renown and endless park. Overnight in a camp. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 7: After breakfast we will move to the centre of Serengeti for more safari in the park. Overnight in a camp. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 8: A whole day safari in the centre of Serengeti. Overnight in a camp. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 9: From Serengeti we drive to Ngorongoro, where we spend the night on the crater’s rim. Overnight in the camp. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 10: Early morning safari. After lunch we drive back to Arusha where we will spend the night in a hotel. Breakfast, lunch.

DAY 11: Transfer to an airport and flight to Zanzibar. On arrival transfer to Vanilla House for overnight.

DAY 12-16: Leisure in Zanzibar.

DAY 17: Morning transfer to the airport and flight back home.

REMARKS:
Any changes to a single itinerary may be done on client’s request at an extra cost of USD 150 paid as an advanced payment for a trip (to be used within one year). Only minor changes such as number of days in Zanzibar or hotel change are free of charge.

Rates and prices include fuel charges and local taxes and fees and in case of change of any of those costs the price of whole program may change respectively.
