Frequently asked questions before going to Africa
I invite you to visit the "African Diaries" where you will find answers to many questions about Africa, which were already posted by the clients of my travel office. It is also a source of many useful information, articles and humorous stories straight from my African life. During many trips of my project I blazed the trails, gain valuable information and learn everything a true globetrotter should know. I want "African Diaries" to become a must-have for every traveler setting out to East Africa. They contain decriptions of just a few of my trips and personal day-to-day experiences. My book "Dom na Zanzibarze" (house in Zanzibar) will soon be in stores. It tells about my adventures since the first trip to Samburu tribe in 1994, as well as about my life in Zanzibar. Africa continues to surprise - mostly those who claim to have already travelled the whole world. "Africa is mystic; it is wild, it is a sweltering inferno, it is a photographer's paradise, a hunter's Valhalla, an escapist's utopia. It is what you will and it withstands all interactions. It is the Last vestige of a dead world or the candle of a shiny new one. To a lot of people, as to myself, it is just home. It is all these things but one thing - it is never dull." These words written by Beryl Markham in 1942, who grew up among Masai since she was four. They are still up-to-date, which I confirm in my memories from Africa. I have been there so many times, I no longer count. But I write about them in my Diaries. I invite you to my "African Diaries" section.
