Safari Blue, Prison Island and Sandbank (all day with lunch)
Early in the morning we go to  Prison Island by boat enjoying a delicious breakfast (tea, juices, home made bread and tropical fruits) on our way.
Our company guarantees the wonderful relaxation.  We set out at 9:30 and visit the ruins of the old prison on the island. We are also to see the Aldabra tortoises and the estates that used to belong to the sultan. We enjoy  the water and the beach and then go to Pange Island (Sandbank) by our dhow boats to admire the incredibly white sand and the  crystal clean ocean that surrounds the island. It is the ideal place for relaxation  and diving with a mask and pipe.
During our cruise we once more enjoy local fruits and soft drinks. Around noon we  have lunch (Swahili cuisine, Italian cheeses, soft drinks and white wine).
We return to Stone Town around 15:30.
The price is $90  per person; the minimum number of people: 2

We recommend the unbelievable adventure on our traditional dhow with all luxuries essential for a good rest. It is a kind of experience you cannot miss.
Imagine yourself a dinner on the traditional boat from which you can watch the coast of Stone Town drinking a refreshing soft drink and listening to live music.
Our excursion starts about 18:00.  From the deck we admire Old Fort, The Miracle House, The Port of Zanzibar and Old Malindi. We greet you with refreshing soft drinks, fresh juices, cheeses, jams, shrimps, calmars, batatas as well as the rich and delicious Swahili cuisine.
The price per person is $110 inclusive of transport; it can also be combined with a visit to Stone Town in which case the price is $130 with the transport cost from Jambiani or Nungwi.
Menu:
Marinated tuna in olive oil
Octopus ala neapolitana (octopus, olive oil, fresh tomatoes)
Calmars in white wine (calmars, chilli, onion, wine)

Grilled tiger shrimps in Italian herbs (fried shrimps, garlic)
Crab salad (crab, lemon, olive oil)
Lobster (grilled lobster with spices)
Fruit salad
Soft drinks and hors d'oeuvre

A visit to Jambiani

Jambiani is the fishing village on the East coast of Zanzibar. We recommend that you visit the villagers having different jobs.
The traditional herbalist (Maganga) is going to show you local herbs, medicines and mixtures as well as to explain their action.
The planter growing plants on coral rocks (shamba)  is going to tell you some interesting things about hard growing conditions as there is only beach sand and coral rock on the island.
The seaweed plantation (mwani) is a woman's domain. The seaweed is grown in the ocean. As the tide is out the women enter their plots and gather the seaweed which is next  taken to America and Asia. It can be used as various food ingredients and in cosmetic industry.
The caves with stalagmites and stalactites are also worth seeing.
The charge of the tourist guide is $25 per group and the transport cost calculated from Stone Town is $60. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to Jambiani from Stone Town.

An excursion to the village Nungwi on the North cape
Nungwi is the village, the inhabitants of which know the boat dhow construction secrets. Dhow boats are traditional sailing boats which have been sailing between Zanzibar and The Arab Countries for ages. The construction methods are not written anywhere. The knowledge is transmitted only orally. The boats are made of wood with the use of local tools and resinous binders. We are going to visit the fish market and the local fishermen. Nungwi is the place of the most beautiful, wide and white beaches.

The price is $30 per person plus the transport cost of maximum $120 per group. The price includes admission and excludes lunch.

Kizimkazi - Dolphins

Kizimkazi is a village on the south cape. The place is called The Bay of Dolphins. It is the place from which you can approach the ocean by boat and swim and dive with  dolphins. There is the oldest Zanzibar's mosque here built in 1107. The mosque has been restored many times. The interior of the mosque can be visited even by women but you need to keep in mind that the shoes have to be taken off and the arms covered. Moreover you are obliged to be silent and give offering.

The price is $50, the minimum number of people: 2

Deep Diving

As the island is famous for  its magnificent underwater world there are a lot of deep diving clubs here.

The price of a single deep dive with a dive master is $50.

The cost of a 5-day deep diving PADI course organised by  the deep diving club next to The Coco Beach (the East coast) is $350.

The package of 10 deep dives with the complete equipment is $270 per person.

The "vanilla Divers" Deep Diving Club on the East coast offers deep diving among fabulous coral reefs, lots of species of fish, turtles, dolphins, sunken war ships, sailing-ships and shipwrecks. The best place for deep diving is Mnemba Island which can be reached within more than an hour by a "dhow" sailing-boat. During one cruise to Mnemba Island there are to be two deep dives with professional equipment.

The price of deep diving on Mnemba Island depends on the place where the tourists live and the number of people in a group.

A full day's  excursion to Chumba Island.

It is the luxurious place to which the boat access from Stone Town takes about 30 minutes. There is a 100-year old lighthouse on the island with a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean.

It is the private island covering the area of 6 ha. There is a virgin forest on it in which about 60 species of exotic birds have their habitat. The island is surrounded by the magnificent atoll where you can dive with your pipe while visiting the island. The underwater world is fabulously colourful. There are 7 houses for tourists on the island. They are made of palm cane . They have a beautiful terrace with a view of the ocean and a bathroom. A bedroom on the first floor with the ocean view terrace seems to be the ideal place for example for the wedding night.

The price is $85 inclusive of the boat transport and lunch and $220 with the  accommodation for the night + the transport cost up to $80 per group.

Prison Island

We start our 10 minute motor boat cruise in Stone Town. There is a small beach on the island from which you can dive with a mask and pipe admiring a magnificent shallow  reef . The great tortoises brought from the Seychelles are no doubt one of the  island's  attractions. Under the British Protectorate the prison was built here but no prisoners were ever been kept in it. The building was used as the place of quarantine for travelers before entering Zanzibar. The prison ruins could be visited. There is a restaurant and a small guest house on the island.

The price is $20 per person (admission paid on the spot) + transport cost of $60 per a group.

Bawe Island

We start our 30 minute cruise in Stone Town. It is one the most beautiful places for diving in the archipelago close to Stone Town. The beach is beautiful. There are some trees that give shade during a hot day. In 1870 the first telegraph pole was built on the island. It carried the first telegraph cable connecting Zanzibar to Aden, South Africa and Seychelles. There is no bar on the island. We advise to take a picnic and soft drinks with you. It is the ideal place for sunbathing on the beach and diving with a mask all day long.

The price is subject to negotiations; around $20 per person + transport cost from a hotel around $60 per car.
